Description	:	Paschal T. Hickerson died at his home in Milford, March 8, 1915, aged 72 years, 6 months and 2 days. His death was due to complicated diseases. He was born Sept. 6, 1842, at Richmond, Madison county, Kentucky. He enlisted in the army during the rebellion in the 78th regiment of Illinois infantry, Co K, Sept. 1, 1862. He enlisted in the army during the rebellion in the 78th regiment of Illinois infantry, Co K, Sept. 1, 1862. He served three years and was discharged the 7th of June, 1865. He was married to Susan E. Hudson Sept. 6, 1866. To them were born five children, 2 girls and 3 boys: Minnie Preble of Red Oak, Iowa; Mrs. Mary Gemmell of Pleasant Dale, Nebr.; Charles A. Hickerson of Payson, Ill.; Elmer and Willie Hickerson of Milford. His wife died March 3, 1875. He then married to Martha M. Applegate, May 15, 1877, to this union were born 4 children, Harry and Ray of Milford, Ida who has preceded her father and one that died in infancy. He left Kentucky with his parents for Illinois when a young boy, coming from there to Nebraska in the fall of 1888, renting a farm near Milford from C. M. Turner, which place he worked very successfully for a number of years. Mr. Hickerson united with the Christian church at the age of 22 years and has been faithful ever since. Paschal T. Hickerson was a member of the S and S Home at Milford, Nebr. Having been admitted thereto July 4, 1912 and a consistent member of the home. He leaves to mourn his death a wife, seven children, 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. And a host of friends. Funeral services were held from the Evangelical church Wednesday at 2:30, Rev. I Laipply, officiating. Interment was made at Blue Mound cemetery.
