Description	:	Patricia A. Haberman, 88, of Lincoln died peacefully surrounded by her four children on Monday morning, May 5, 2014. She was born on January 25, 1926 to Ernest and Lucy Henneman Logan in Winner, SD. She spent most of her early life in Springview until enrolling at Doane College in Crete and then graduating from the University of Nebraska with a teaching degree. Read More	Patricia A. Haberman, 88, of Lincoln died peacefully surrounded by her four children on Monday morning, May 5, 2014. She was born on January 25, 1926 to Ernest and Lucy Henneman Logan in Winner, SD. She spent most of her early life in Springview until enrolling at Doane College in Crete and then graduating from the University of Nebraska with a teaching degree. She taught for two years in Friend NE. She married Donald H. Haberman on December 28, 1949 and to this union four children were born. They moved to Beatrice in 1958 and she was employed by the Beatrice Public School system as a paraprofessional/aide at the High School for 15 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Chapter FM, P.E.O. and a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Women all of Beatrice. She volunteered many hours for Meals on Wheels, Beatrice Public Library, Homestead National Monument, Food Pantry and the Beatrice Blood Drive. Survivors include two sons, Robert Haberman and wife Julie and Thomas Haberman and wife Sue all of Lincoln; two daughters, Ann Andrews and husband Scott of Lincoln and Kristen Lee and husband Corkey of Los Angeles, CA; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister-in-law, Jo Logan of Loveland, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lucy Henneman Logan, her husband Donald, who died on December 22, 1998; her brother, Dennis Logan. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Beatrice with Dr. Jimmy Shelbourn officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. A family prayer service will be held 10:15 A.M. in the church parlor on Friday. A memorial has been established to the First Presbyterian Church and the Nebraska Children's Home. The body has been cremated. There will be no viewing. A register book for signatures will be available at Fox Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. Wednesday to 9:00 P.M. Thursday and at the church one hour preceding the services. Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
