Patricia received her education at the Chester Public School and graduated from Chester High School in 1974. She was graduated from the Lincoln School of Commerce, Lincoln, in 1975. She was united in marriage to Gary L. MgGhghy on April 6, 1975 and to this union two children were born, Andrew Joseph and Thomas James. She lived in Chester most of her life and was active in the community. She taught Bible School and was a leader of the Girl Scouts. Patricia was also an Emergency Medical Techician and was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Chester. She is survived by her husband, Gary McGhghy, Chester; her parents, Earnest and Peggy Dunn, Chester; two sons, Andrew Joseph and Thomas James; two sisters, Janet L. Dunn, Lincoln and Linda K. Dunn, Pearland, Texas; several other relatives and a host of friends. Casket bearers were David Dingman, Kenneth Dittbrenner, Dennis Harms, Levi Krause, Ralph Stierlen and Harold Zimmerman Jr. Honorary casket bearers were Ed Berry, David Gilkeson, Rick Kassebaum, Dan Poppe, Terry Skucius and Marlin Smith. Funeral services were held at the St. John Lutheran Church of Chester on Friday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m., and were conducted by Pastor Paul M. Hoecker. Interment was at Chester Cemetery.
