Patricia Kay "Pat" Storz, 75 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at her home. Pat was born on May 14, 1946, in Holdrege, the younger of two children to Albert Lisle and Elda Lorena (Hussey) Conrad. She attended Holdrege Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1964. On May 8, 1965, she was united in marriage to Dennis G. Storz at the All Saints Catholic Church and to this union two sons were born: Todd and Ryan. Besides caring for her family and their home, Pat worked at the Brewster Clinic as a lab assistant for three years. She then began a career at Phelps Memorial Health Center as a ward clerk, until she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. After that, Pat devoted her time to taking care of the family and fulfilling her passion for flower gardening. Pat truly enjoyed the outdoors, and she will be remembered for her love of flowers. Those that knew her and lived around her, will remember that not a spring or summer day would pass without seeing her outside tending to her yard and to her flowers. She was an avid reader and a lover of animals. Pat loved music and had an album collection that had any radio station would envy. She enjoyed going to concerts to see her favorite artists over the years, such as: Elton John, ELO and Elvis Presley. During Pat's later years, after her mobility became limited due to MS, she enjoyed watching classic TV shows such as "The Walton's" and "Leave It To Beaver." Pat treasured visits with friends and church members, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her sons, grandchildren and their families. She was a faithful member of the All Saints Catholic Church. Pat was preceded in death by; her parents; three brothers: Albert Conrad, Jr; Kenneth Lindquist; and Keith Lindquist; three sisters: Linda Allen; Jeanie Blum; and Ella Mae Cooksey. Pat leaves to celebrate her life: her husband, Dennis Storz of Holdrege; sons: Todd Storz and his wife, Lisa of Kearney; and Ryan Storz and his wife, Jami of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren: Dustin and his wife, Jenna; Brett; Brandon; Rebecca; and Luke; her first great-grandchild born just 4 weeks ago, Natalie Ann; and her brother, Kennard (Tex) Lindquist and his wife, Janet of Portland, Oregon; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege is in charge of arrangements.
