She worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a nursing assistant and later for the Nalleys potato chip company. She grew up in Morton, WA until moving to Tacoma with her mother where she grew up and attended school. Pat met Tom H. Dobbins at Fort Lewis, WA where he was stationed with the US Army and they married on April 27, 1952 in Spokane, WA. The family moved to Moscow, ID where Tom went to work at the University of Idaho in Central Services and later retired again. They have made Moscow their home since that time. They enjoyed life to its fullest and were an unseperatable union, doing everything together. They spent their summers at the family home in Priest River, spending hours enjoying the outdoors, spending time with their family camping and fishing through the years. Tom in early years enjoyed bird hunting and Pat enjoyed bowling. Together they were all about helping others in need both family and friends. Pat & Tom were always willing to go the extra mile for others. They indeed took the idea of “Paying It Forward” to new heights.
