Rowell, 67, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 25, 2009 at Falls City. She was born August 16, 1941 at Waldron, AR to the late Kelley and Opal (MacDaniel) Martin. On April 29, 1963 she married Dorand D. Rowell at Benton, AR. He passed away November 16, 1995. Patricia was raised in Waldron and moved to Little Rock, AR to work as a Nurse's Aide in the First Baptist Hospital. The couple established their home in Little Rock, AR when married and lived there until moving back to Waldron and then moving to Falls City in 1975. After moving to Falls City she did custodial and checking work at Pamida and did custodial work for the School District at the former Junior High building. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Falls City. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Pamela Ann Shorb and her husband Ron of Hiawatha, KS, Rebecca Ann Baruth and her husband Rob of Colorado Springs, CO, step-children, Dorand, Sam, Wanda and Rose Marie, brothers, Kelley Gene Martin, Jr. of Waldon, Charles Martin of Arkansas, Tommy Martin of Fort Smith, AR, Robert Paul Martin of Waldron, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchildren, Tony and Savanah Gill and a sister, Gayle Denton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery at Barada, NE. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. (dorrandclark.com/obituary)
