Description	:	Paul H. Tucker, 77, of Chelan, died Friday, June 14, 2002 at Regency Manor Care Center in Chelan. He was born in Monette, AR on Feb. 6, 1925, the son of Walter A. and Ethel (Neely) Tucker. At the age of 12, he moved with his family to the Wenatchee area, where he attended school. While a senior in high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve during W.W II. He served on the U.S.S. New Jersey as an electrical engineer until he was honorably discharged on May 22, 1946. He finished high school after his discharge and attended WSU for three... Read More	Paul H. Tucker, 77, of Chelan, died Friday, June 14, 2002 at Regency Manor Care Center in Chelan. He was born in Monette, AR on Feb. 6, 1925, the son of Walter A. and Ethel (Neely) Tucker. At the age of 12, he moved with his family to the Wenatchee area, where he attended school. While a senior in high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve during W.W II. He served on the U.S.S. New Jersey as an electrical engineer until he was honorably discharged on May 22, 1946. He finished high school after his discharge and attended WSU for three years. He then went to work constructing power lines across the country. On Sept. 10, 1955, he was married to Frances Ingraham in Goldendale. Following the marriage, they made their home in Olympia, where Paul worked for Puget Sound Power and Light. In November of 1963, he moved to Chelan to work for Chelan County PUD until he retired in February of 1990. He is survived by his wife of the home; a son David of Montana; two daughters, Jane Clark of Chelan and Judy Feider of Clarkston; a sister, Phyllis Wright of Yelm; five granddaughters, one grandson and two great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 1 p.m. from the Church of Christ in Pateros with Ministers Dale Linge and Jim Reppart officiating. There will be no visitation. There will be a private inurnment. Memorials may be made to the Pateros Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society. Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
