Description	:	Paul Kober passed away after a full life on Nov. 25, 2007, at age 88, at the Stillwater Community Hospital. Paul was born at Young's Point near Park City, on June 19, 1919, son of William and Anna Kober. He attended school in Park City and Columbus and honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Paul is survived by his wife, Gladys Shy Stimpson Kober, of 61 years; a son, Paul of Kalispell; a daughter, Sally (Gary) Reid of Bozeman; and two grandchildren, Kelly Dickey of Atlanta and Nathan Kober, a student at Mississippi State University. Paul was born at Young's Point near Park City, on June 19, 1919, son of William and Anna Kober. He attended school in Park City and Columbus and honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Paul is survived by his wife, Gladys Shy Stimpson Kober, of 61 years; a son, Paul of Kalispell; a daughter, Sally (Gary) Reid of Bozeman; and two grandchildren, Kelly Dickey of Atlanta and Nathan Kober, a student at Mississippi State University. Paul is also survived by his twin sister, Pauline Doerr of Powell, Wyo. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; four brothers and a loving daughter, Joy Dawn Kober. Paul enjoyed life and all it had to offer. He worked at several vocations and enjoyed his time as a farm worker, drayage operator, bar tender, and especially a 23-year career in law enforcement and finally retirement from Timberweld Manufacturing. He made lifelong friends in each of those vocations. He also enjoyed time spent in the Beartooth Mountains on the West Fork of the Stillwater River, yard work, cooking, gardening and wine making. His lifelong love was music. He began playing music as a youth and played everything from the bass to accordion, piano/organ and the harmonica. In recent years, he especially enjoyed Saturday evening jam sessions with Bob and Bev Kem on the piano, harmonica, spoons and whatever else made noise. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery.
