Description	:	Paul S. Gill, 92, of Pittsburg, died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at Cornerstone Village. He had been in ill health for more than one year. He was born Nov. 3, 1910, at Albion, IL. to Sherman Daniel and Lena G. Bunting Gill. He attended Albion schools and was a graduate of Albion High School. He graduated from Southern Illinois State University at Carbondale. He married Claudia M. Keith on May 13, 1937, at the Methodist Church at Uniontown. She survives of the home. He had been in ill health for more than one year. He was born Nov. 3, 1910, at Albion, IL. to Sherman Daniel and Lena G. Bunting Gill. He attended Albion schools and was a graduate of Albion High School. He graduated from Southern Illinois State University at Carbondale. He married Claudia M. Keith on May 13, 1937, at the Methodist Church at Uniontown. She survives of the home. Mr. Gill taught in rural schools around Albion. He managed a Wabash Oil station at Fairfield, IL. for three years, then worked at Boeing in Wichita during WWII. He owned and operated a paint and wallpaper store at Yates Center before moving to Pittsburg in 1948. He managed a Standard Oil station and a Phillips 66 in Pittsburg before retiring in 1989. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served as an usher for many years. He and his wife were host and hostess for the card players at Homer Cole Senior Citizens Center for 18 months. He also was a member of the 60-plus group. Additional survivors include one son, William R. Gill of Pittsburg; to daughters, Sherrill Lundquest of Lindale, TX, and Patricia Sharpe of Wichita; one brother, Gerald Gill of Wellington; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Paul Gill; and three brothers, Duane Gill, Clyde Gill, and George Gill. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Brenner Mortuary Chapel, where friends also may call after 10 a.m. Sunday. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenner Mortuary, 114 E.
