Mr. Van Dusen was born on November 11, 1926, and resided in the Michiana area his lifetime. On December 29, 1952, in Washington, D.C., he married the former Edna Ann Runnels. Read More	Paul Van Dusen Nov. 11, 1926 - Oct. 5, 2007 NEW CARLISLE - Paul Van Dusen, 80, of New Carlisle, IN, was found expired on October 5, 2007, along with his wife in their residence. Mr. Van Dusen was born on November 11, 1926, and resided in the Michiana area his lifetime. On December 29, 1952, in Washington, D.C., he married the former Edna Ann Runnels. He is survived by two sisters, Donnabell Zook, (Hudson Lake) New Carlisle and Madeleine (Frank) Ehrich of New Carlisle. Mr. Van Dusen was preceded in death by two brothers, Dean Van Dusen and Floyd Van Dusen. Paul retired from the Bendix Corp. after many years of service. Paul was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of New Carlisle American Legion Post 297. He was also a former member of South Bend Moose Lodge #58 and the New Carlisle Historical Society. He loved bowling, fishing, hunting, trapping and car racing of all kinds. He loved to spend time at his cabin on Black Lake in Sioux Narrows, Canada. The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to Pet Refuge, Inc., 2300 W. 6th St., Mishawaka, IN; or to a charity of the donor's choice. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at Olive Chapel Cemetery, New Carlisle, at a later date. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at _West Ireland Road/Indiana 23_, handled arrangements and extend its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the family of Paul and Edna Van Dusen.
