He was the son of: Ward and Martha (Johnson) Sherbon. Paul graduated from Eldora High School in Eldora; Hardin County, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Benbow on September 3, 1950 in Union; Hardin County, Iowa. He was employed as a maintenance man with Swifts and later with the VA home, both in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was a member of the Center Street Baptist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Paul Ward Sherbon, age: 81, passed away on Saturday; January 22, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines; Polk County, Iowa. Those left to mourn his passing are: His wife: Marilyn; his sons: Robert (Dixie) Sherbon of Sand Point; Kosciusko Count, Indiana; Ron (Karla) Sherbon of Melbourne; Marshall County, Iowa; his daughter in law: Mrs. Terri Jo Sherbon of Salt lake City; Salt Lake County, Utah; his four grandchildren: Ron, Greg, Mike and Peggy; his five great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Paul was preceded in death by a son: Terry; his two sisters: Linley and Elva; also his brother: Bill. May they rest in peace. May God bless his memory and give strength to those that mourn. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday; January 26, 2011 at the Center Street Baptist Church in Marshalltown with Dr. Bob Domokas officiating. Inurnment will be at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Center Street Baptist Church in his name.
