Description	:	Pauline A. Buss, 81, of Adams died at the Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Pauline was born on June 14, 1936 to Dick and Anna (Schoen) Cramer, on the family farm just outside of Pickrell, NE. She was the fifth of seven children, having five brothers and one (older) sister. Buss, 81, of Adams died at the Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Pauline was born on June 14, 1936 to Dick and Anna (Schoen) Cramer, on the family farm just outside of Pickrell, NE. She was the fifth of seven children, having five brothers and one (older) sister. Pauline attended country school at Otoe School, District 160, which was just north of where Christ Lutheran Church now stands. She attended until the eighth grade, after which, her father became ill and she and her brothers stayed home to work the family farm. Pauline met her husband Willard through her brother, Harvey. Harvey worked construction and Willard worked with him. Willard and Pauline were married on October 22, 1952 at Adams Lutheran Church, by Pastor JH Reents. In 1965, Pauline and Willard acquired their own farm in Adams, where Willard still resides. Over the years, they had "everything-beef cattle, milking cows, pigs, peacocks, goats, horses, sheep, and I raised, butchered and sold 200 chickens every 2 weeks." She and Willard also raised crops and had a large garden. Pauline had also driven a school bus for Adams Public Schools and worked at Gold Crest in the Dietary Department for 12 years. Pauline was a member American Lutheran Church in Adams, where she taught Sunday School when her children were younger. She and her husband remained avid sports fans, and especially had enjoyed following their 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren in their music and sport activities. Pauline now enjoyed reading and spending time with her large and ever-growing family. Pauline is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willard of Adams; children, Rosetta Lamborn of Lincoln, David (Cindy) Buss of Adams, Marcia Kress of Adams, Darwin (Susan) Buss of Adams, Daniel (Cindy) Buss of Gresham and Rhonda (Steve) Scott of Adams; 14 grandchildren, Amanda, Amelia, Amber, Nathaniel, Adam (Ashley), Jenn, Zach (Sara), Cody, Dillon, Evan (Kaitlyn), Travis (Lindy), Tiffany, Tara (Brian), Jessica (Dustin); 14 great grandchildren, Alex, Ana, Abby, Ares, Lucas, Harper, Trey, Hunter, Jackson, Boru, Odelia, Noah, Carter, Kaylynn, and many other extended family members. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, one son-in-law, Kenny Kress and many other extended family members. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Fox Funeral Home of Adams with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery of Adams. A family prayer service will be held at 10:15 A.M. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Adams on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday. The family will greet friends and family from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. to reminisce and share memories about Pauline’s life on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
