Pretty Wedding At St. Marys Church Rev. Father Loche read the, nuptial high mass which united in marriage Miss Pauline Oatney daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oatney and Mr. Dewey McCandlish of Bremen, O. The ceremony took place at eight o'clock this morning in St. Marys church. The altar was banked with ferns and palms and baskets filled with summer flowers were placed tastefully among the greenery. In the wedding party were Miss Rosalie Oatney sister of the bride as bridesmaid and Mr. Walter May of Bremen who was best man. The wedding marches were played by Miss Mayme O'Neill. During the ceremony Mr. James Gallagher sang "I Love You truly." The bride wore white brocaded satin. Her veil was held with a wreath orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and lavender sweet peas. The brides maid was attired in canary beaded georgette and she wore a picture hat of the same material. Her flowers were sweet peas in a corsage bouquet. Following the ceremony thirty guests were entertained at a wedding breakfast at the bride's parents south of Lancaster. Bouquets of yellow and white flowers decorated the rooms and table. A dinner party will be given this evening at the home of the groom's father Mr. K. C. McCandlish in Breman in honor of the bride and groom. They will leave tonight on a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. Buffalo and other points of interest in the East. England, 85, passed away Saturday, March 16, 1991, at Lancaster-Fairfield Community Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Emmit S. England; stepchildren, Dean England and Gloria Bixler, both of Lancaster; six step- grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Oatney and Paul Oatney* both of Lancaster; and two sisters, Frances Campbell of Lancaster and Bernadine Yates of Springfield. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. There will be a private service at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by Sheridan funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary's Church of Lancaster or a charity of choice. * NOTE: Paul Oatney was listed as a brother, which is incorrect.
