She was born July 13, 1930 in Mulberry, KS the daughter of Pete and Pauline (Pichler) Hofer. She lived in Frontenac, Arma and Pittsburg throughout her life. She was a graduate of Arma High School. (Gallagher) Didlake, 82 of Pittsburg died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday March 3, 2013 at the Via Christi Village Nursing Facility in Pittsburg. She was born July 13, 1930 in Mulberry, KS the daughter of Pete and Pauline (Pichler) Hofer. She lived in Frontenac, Arma and Pittsburg throughout her life. She was a graduate of Arma High School. Pauline married Leo Gallagher on August 27, 1949 in Arma, KS he preceded her in death on July 28, 1980. She then married Virgil Didlake on June 4, 1987 in Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on September 23, 1995. She worked with her husband Leo for Gallagher Construction for 21 years. She also worked for Sears, True Value and Pittsburg Refrigeration. Pauline was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg, the St. Mary's Alter Society. She enjoyed dancing, playing bridge and was an avid supporter, attending all sporting events for her children and grandchildren. Survivors include 2 daughters Sandra Malcolm ofMulberry, KS, Sherry Goodvin of Wichita, KS; 4 sons-RickGallagher of Springfield, MO, Col. Pete Gallagher of Ft. Huachuca, AZ, Lt. Col. Ret. Mike Gallagher of Fayetteville, N.C., Scott Gallagher of Lenexa, KS; a brother Peter Hofer of Arma, KS; 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Leo Gallagher and Virgil Didlake. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday March 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Marco DeLoera as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The parish rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg where the family will receive friends following the rosary until 7 p.m. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
