She was converted and joined the Baptist Church at the age of 16. Dec. 20, 1905, she was married to George A. West. April 10, 1910 at the age of 22 years 7½ months, she passed to her happy home beyond the skies. It is a pleasure to record that she was a Christian woman, a faithful wife and mother, a loving daughter and sister, and beloved by all who knew her. The world has need of such people and yet in infinite wisdom she was taken to her heavenly home. Words fail to express the sympathy of a large community to the bereaved husband, father, mother and brothers, but a hearty interest will be taken in the motherless little ones. Seldom have the last services called together so large an audience who sympathized so deeply. It was partly because of her lovable character and partly because of the high esteem generally held for the bereaved ones. Rev. Mr. Jensen conducted the funeral service Mon. at 11 A. M. in the M. E. Church and burial was made in Ash Hollow Cemetery. The list of bearers includes the following: Sylvester Smith, W. P. Clark, J. H. Winterer, Arthur White and Howard Meeker.
