Description	:	Pearl Jefferies Kelly, was the oldest surviving daughter of John James and Hannah Garner Jefferies, from North Western Missouri. She was married to Dr. Perry D. Kelly, who's practice was in the area of Nemaha, for over 40 years. Her aunt, Elizabeth Marie "Mamie" Jefferies Mayfield, who lived till the age of 99, was the Grand mother of Sara Jane Mayfield (FULKS adopted name) Wyman. Sarah Jane's dad, Manning Jefferies Mayfield, witnessed Pearl's marriage to Dr. Kelly. Jane was to become Jane Wyman, the actress, and was her 1st Cousin, once removed, who's second husband was... Sarah Jane's dad, Manning Jefferies Mayfield, witnessed Pearl's marriage to Dr. Kelly. Jane was to become Jane Wyman, the actress, and was her 1st Cousin, once removed, who's second husband was Ronald Wilson Reagan, former actor/radio sports announcer at WOC And WHO radio in Des Moines,Ia. who eventually became the 40th President of The United States. Pearl is survived by several Grand Daughters, Grand Son, several Grand Nephews & Nieces, Great Grand Children, and Great Great Grand Nieces and Nephews in the Kelly, Jefferies, and Hogrieve Family lines. She was so charming and knowledgeable, and had a very kean, sharp memory. She spoke like it was yesterday once more, when near her death in 1983, she told Nephew, Francis (FRANK) Jefferies and his wife Chloris, of her old boy friend that she dated when she was 16 years old. She described him with a perfect memory of what he was like and her images of him to her listeners. Her husband, son Stuart Kelly, Parents, Grand Parents, and several brothers and sisters, all preceded her in death. She is sorely missed, being one of the smartest of the surviving sisters at that time, with many stories...unfortunately not All taken down.
