Donald Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Akron. Mr. Harrington died early Saturday morning at his home there. He was born Jan. 7, 1888, in South Dakota. He married Helen Boden Sept. 1923 at St. James, Minn. Mr. Harrington had been a mechanic in Le Mars for about 20 years, end later moved to Westfield where he was a mechanic for about 11 years. He retired to Akron. Survivors are the widow; a son, Dr. Earl V. Harrington of Green Bay, Wis., and a daughter, Mrs. Mike Dmytro of North Chicago; two brothers, Albert of Westfield and Vessey of Montana, and five grandchildren. Harrington, 78, at his home in this city early Saturday morning in his sleep brought sadness and regret to his relatives and many friends. Percy Walter Harrington was born January 7, 1888, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Harrington, west of Westfield, in Union county, S D. He grew to man's estate ia that vicinity. In September, 1912, he was united in marriage with Miss Helen Boden at St. James, Minn. Mr. Harrington was employed as a mechanic in Le Mars for about twenty years. They resided eleven years in Long Beach, Calif. Returning to Westfield, they lived there until retiring and moving to Akron three years ago. His many fine qualities and pleasant personality won the respect of all who knew him. The community extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives. Survivors include the widow; a son, Dr. Earl V. Harrington, of Green Bay, Wis., and a daughter, Mrs. Mike Dmytro, of North Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Albert of Westfield, and Vessey, of Montana, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational church in Westfield, Rev. Donald Roberts officiating. Mrs. Donald Banks was soloist and Mrs. Florence Knapp was pianist. Casket bearers were Clare Lilly, Wilbur Harrington, Farrell Harrington, William Hebler, Kenneth Rollins, and Roger Banks. Interment was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
