Description	:	Percy William Lowe Jr. (Bill) "Pawpaw" died Sunday, Sept. 21 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. Born in Nelson County January 24, 1940, he was the son of the late Percy William Lowe, Sr. and Robbie Campbell Lowe. Bill retired form the Norfolk & Southern Railroad System, and had worked part-time at WSET and the Amherst County School Bus System. Read More	Percy William Lowe Jr. (Bill) "Pawpaw" died Sunday, Sept. 21 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. Born in Nelson County January 24, 1940, he was the son of the late Percy William Lowe, Sr. and Robbie Campbell Lowe. Bill enjoyed playing music with his friends, and was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred W. Lowe (Memaw). He is survived by two sons; Larry W. Lowe and Tony Lowe and his wife Anita, and a daughter Debra Lipscomb and her husband, Joey, all of Madison Heights; one sister, Roberta (Birdie) and her husband Isaac (Buddy) Wills of Madison Heights; 9 grandchildren, Chris Palmore and wife Amanda, Barbara, Shannon and Krista Lipscomb, Renay Thomas, Caleb, Alexis and Samantha Lowe, and Joshua Horne; 3 great-grandchildren, Haley Lipscomb, Ethan Mays and Olivia Palmore; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service were conducted Sept. 24 at Madison Heights Baptist Church by the Rev. Timothy Madison with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.
