Buried in the Mount Auburn Cemetery, Mount Auburn, Benton, Iowa, United States He married Marietta Jane Mary Smith on March 16, 1875 in Mount Vernon, Linn County, Iowa. The funeral of Perry Abbott was held at the M. E. Church yesterday at 11 o’clock. Mr. Abbott died Tuesday morning after an illness of only five days at his home north of town. His sudden death came as a shock to both relatives and friends the sympathy of all is extended to the sorrowing wife and family. October 25, 1907. Children 1.
