Without any warning Mr. Anderson gasped and slumped in his chair. Dr. L. N. Kunkel was called, and found Mr. Anderson dead. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery; pallbearers being Sterling Hayes, H.A. Crozier, C.J. Figaard, Rasmus Lauritzen, Sr. Harold Thomasen and Herman Rauth. Born December 14, 1863 at Sister Bay, Wisconsin, Mr. Anderson lived at Kankakee, Ill., during his youth and was confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church. He came to Nebraska in 1888 settling in Cass County. During those early days he shared with others in the new West the hardships of those pioneering years. Celebrated Golden Wedding He married Annie Loretta Christensen Sept. 1895 and the couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary last year. Mr. Anderson lived on his farm northeast of Weeping Water until two years ago when he and Mrs. Anderson bought a home in Weeping Water and moved to town. Surviving besides Mrs. Anderson are two sons, Walter Anderson and Renos Anderson, both of Weeping Water, Mrs. Tena Robertson, Miller, Mrs. Elizabeth Jenkins, Chicago; and Mrs. Dosena Snell, Omaha and four grandchildren.
