Hanson, 85, Robinson Man, Dies, Funeral May 4th Funeral services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Robinson on Thursday, May 4 at 2 p.m., for Peter C. Hanson, 85, who died in a Bismarck hospital on Monday, May 1. Mr. Hanson had been in ill health the past three weeks. Rev. Hanson, 85, Robinson Man, Dies, Funeral May 4th Funeral services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Robinson on Thursday, May 4 at 2 p.m., for Peter C. Hanson, 85, who died in a Bismarck hospital on Monday, May 1. Mr. Hanson had been in ill health the past three weeks. Rev. Chris Stein will officiate at the last rites and burial will be made in Robinson Cemetery. Born near Langedahl south of Tuttle on September 8, 1886 he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hanson. He attended Langedahl and Tuttle area country schools and farmed with his father. He was married to Mildred Haugen in Robinson on July 19, 1922. Following their marriage they farmed in the Tuttle area until 1949 when they moved to Robinson where they were also engaged in farming. He retired in 1962. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Dale, Peter and Milo all of Robinson, five daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Norma) Hinkel of Bismarck, Mrs. Art (Velma) Trautmann, Robinson, Mrs. Leonard (Ardene) Barth of Duluth, MN, Mrs. Henry (Clara) Hongerholt, Whalen, MN, Mrs. Leonard (Josie) Landsverk, Lanesboro, MN, 37 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one brother, Tolles Hanson of Idaho and one sister, Mrs. Lars Hegdahl of Lodi, CA. Published in the Steele Ozone-Press, Steele, North Dakota, May 3, 1972. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter and Dorthea had five babies that died including Peter C. born July, 1917 died September 8, 1917.
