Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 13 Jan 1932 Peter John Mayer Passes Suddenly Peter John Mayer, of the Russell country, passed away at St. Clare hospital on Friday afternoon, Jan. 8, 1932, at 3:30, death following a serious throat infection. Mr. Mayer came to the hospital here early Friday and at that time his condition was thought not serious and up until just before his death his condition was not alarming. Peter John Mayer was born on June 24th, 1911, at Glenburn, North Dakota, and at the time of his death was aged 20 years, 6 months and 14 days. Mr. Mayer came to this county a number of years ago and for some time has been working for Adam Johnstone on Dugout. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and a two months old baby; four brothers, Matt, who works for the McLeish ranch, and Chris, who owns a ranch on the Marias, and Joe and John who reside in North Dakota; and one sister, Mrs. Vern Hickson, of near Brady, besides other relatives and a large circle of friends. The funeral services were held from the Catholic church on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. Fr. Csiscman and interment made in Riverside cemetery. The relatives have the sympathy of the community in this their bereavement.
