Read More	PETER KRIZ, 37, FARM HAND, TAKES OWN LIFE Member of Large Clutier Family Commits Suicide at Brother’s Home — Was Worried Over Debts Peter Kriz, 37, of Carroll township, ended his life Sunday morning in a woodshed on the farm west of Clutier occupied by his brother, John, and family. He had been picking corn for various farmers around Clutier this fall but, spent the night Saturday in the John Kriz home. Sunday morning, when John entered the woodshed later in the morning, he found his brother’s dead body. Dr. A. J. Havlik, county coroner, of Tama, who was called, said Peter left a note, found in a pocket of his overalls which indicated his intention of taking his life because of financial difficulties. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the home of another brother, Joseph Kriz, at 9 o’clock and at St. Vaclav church, west of Clutier at 10 o’clock. The Rev. Father Thomas Vopatek was in charge. Burial was in St. Vaclav cemetery. Peter Kriz was born June 29, 1901, son of Joseph and Catharine Kriz, deceased. At the age of 21 he was married in Clutier on Nov. 7, 1922, to Miss Blanche Spinka, of Toledo, from whom he later was divorced. There were no children. He worked for various farmers around Clutier. His mother died many years ago, and his father died in 1929. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Joseph Dvorak, near Clutier, and by seven brothers, who are John, Joe, Mike, Albert and Frank Kriz, of this vicinity; Allan Kriz, Traer; and Louis, who is employed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
