Description	:	PETER VOGEL was born near Georgetown, Brown County, Ohio in 1855, and died at his home near Clear Creek, January 28, 1921. He came to Keokuk county, Iowa with his parents in 1856 where he resided the remainder of his life. On February 14th, 1882 he was united in marriage with Margaret Conrad. To this union there were born nine children, five girls and four boys, one boy dying in infancy. Mr. Vogel was a farmer and was well known and highly respected by his neighbors with whom he lived so many years. He was a kind father and husband... Read More	PETER VOGEL was born near Georgetown, Brown County, Ohio in 1855, and died at his home near Clear Creek, January 28, 1921. He came to Keokuk county, Iowa with his parents in 1856 where he resided the remainder of his life. On February 14th, 1882 he was united in marriage with Margaret Conrad. To this union there were born nine children, five girls and four boys, one boy dying in infancy. Mr. Vogel was a farmer and was well known and highly respected by his neighbors with whom he lived so many years. He was a kind father and husband and a good citizen. He had been in poor health for more than a year and everything was done that could be done to restore his health and prolong his life but all eventually failed. He leaves to mourn their loss his loving wife, eight children, three sisters and three brothers. The children are Mrs. Theo Dumont, Harper, E. J. Vogel, Sigourney, Mrs. Barney Linenkamp, Delta, Mrs. Edd Osweiler and Mrs. George Osweiler, both of Sigourney, Mrs. A. J. Osweiler Harper, Victor Vogel, Harper and Raymond at home.
