Description	:	Mrs. Edward (Frances M.) Osweiler, age 83, died suddenly Wednesday evening, September 20 at her home in Keswick. She was born March 9, 1889, south of Harper, the daughter of Peter and Margaret Conrad Vogel. She had lived on a farm in the Sigourney area until moving into Sigourney in 1950. She moved to Keswick in 1961. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Keswick and the Keswick Garden Club. She was married to Edward Osweiler November 23, 1909 at Ss. Osweiler, age 83, died suddenly Wednesday evening, September 20 at her home in Keswick. She was born March 9, 1889, south of Harper, the daughter of Peter and Margaret Conrad Vogel. She had lived on a farm in the Sigourney area until moving into Sigourney in 1950. She moved to Keswick in 1961. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Keswick and the Keswick Garden Club. She was married to Edward Osweiler November 23, 1909 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Clear Creek. They were the parents of ten children: Harold of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Howard (Geneva) Striegel of Des Moines; Hubert of Webster, James of Rose Hill, Mrs. Marvin (Elizabeth) Yoakam of Keswick, Raymond of Sigourney, Mrs. Ray (Gertrude) Lester of Des Moines, Leo of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mrs. Don (Jody) Bair of Keswick, and Mrs. Gerald (Rita) Navarre of Westminster, California. Surviving in addition to her children are 25 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Magdalene Dumont of Keota, Mrs. Minnie Osweiler of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Lena Osweiler of Torrance, California; two brothers, Edward Vogel of Sigourney and Victor Vogel of Keota. Preceding her in death were her husband December 9, 1960; her parents; three granddaughters; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Linnenkamp and two brothers, Raymond Vogel and Charles Vogel in infancy. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 23 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church in Sigourney with the Rev. Francis Lollich, the Rev. John Hebenstreit and the Rev. W. B. Sondag officiating. The rosary was recited Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Reynolds Funeral Chapel. Interment was in the Ss. Peter and Paul Parish Cemetery at Clear Creek. Casket bearers were: James Bair, Gary Osweiler, James Osweiler, John Osweiler, Melvin Stanley and Douglas West. Sigourney Review - September 27, 1972
