Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR Mrs. McLelland was born July 18, 1932 in Stephenville, TX to the union of Phillip H. Van Dyke and Pearl Dot Hurley Van Dyke. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Mary Pearl Williams, Karl George Van Dyke, Elton Jewell McAnear, Dixie Dell Ratliff, Cordelia Oden, Margarette McLaughlin, grandson, Charles Justin Jackson McLelland and a great grandson, Noah Jones. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR Mrs. McLelland was born July 18, 1932 in Stephenville, TX to the union of Phillip H. Van Dyke and Pearl Dot Hurley Van Dyke. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Mary Pearl Williams, Karl George Van Dyke, Elton Jewell McAnear, Dixie Dell Ratliff, Cordelia Oden, Margarette McLaughlin, grandson, Charles Justin Jackson McLelland and a great grandson, Noah Jones. Mrs. McLelland was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher and VBS teacher before moving to Louisiana. She loved to garden and will be remembered for her cooking. Survivors include her husband, Charles Edward McLelland, one son, Charles Ray McLelland and wife Gwenda, one daughter, Judy McLelland Shelton and husband Bill, one sister, Velma Massingill, one brother-in-law, Noel McLaughlin, three grandchildren, Mindy Bridge and husband Matt, Heather McLelland , and Jennifer Cardwell, five step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, Ansleigh McLelland, Carson Bridge, Decker Bridge, Dustin Montgomery, and Jase Montgomery, and seven step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Family Life Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Family Life Center with Rev. Rubin Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the Scotland Cemetery in Junction City, AR. under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Junction City, AR. Any planned memorials may be made to the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Building Fund or charity of the donor's choice.
