Description	:	Death of Phillip White The subject of this sketch was born Aug. 30, 1838 in Fulton county Pen, and died July 7th, 1897 in the 59th year of his age. He was married to Rebeccca Newman April 5th 1862 at Mechanicsburg, Pa. His wife preceeded him to the great futurity on Feb. 27th, 1889 at the age of 43 years. To them were born ten children of which four sons and five daughters are yet living. The funeral services were held last Thursday at the M.E. church by F.D. Loy, assisted by Rev. Robins and Rev.... Wilson. His remains were laid to rest in the Americus cemetery. He has three brothers living in this vicinty besides other relatives who mourn his departure to that better land.
