| Description | : | Polly Mary Knight was born in Monroe County, Ohio on October 30, 1840 and she was the daughter of Zeke Knight. She spent her early years in Ohio but came to Lee County, Iowa with her family in the late 1850s. She was united in marriage to Martin Van Buren Sigler at St. Francesville, Missouri, April 11, 1858 near Martin's relatives and then moving to Carroll County in 1873.
