June 9, 1893, she was married to James H. Johnson at Fairfax, Mo. To this union were born 12 children, ten of whom are left to mourn the loss of a loving mother. February 22, 1906, she moved with her family to Nebraska, where the remainder of her life was spent. JOHNSON Priscilla May Hixon was born February 9, 1878, in Tampico, Ills. When a small girl she moved to Atchison county, Mo. June 9, 1893, she was married to James H. Johnson at Fairfax, Mo. To this union were born 12 children, ten of whom are left to mourn the loss of a loving mother. February 22, 1906, she moved with her family to Nebraska, where the remainder of her life was spent. Her husband preceded her in death September 7, 1924, and since that time she has lived in Pawnee City. She passed from this life at 7:40 a.m. Friday, July 22, 1938. Early in life she confessed her faith in the Holiness church and united with the First Baptist church of Pawnee City March 11, 1934, remaining faithful to her belief in Christ to the end. Due to her ill health, she has been unable to attend the services regularly, and having been an invalid the past two years was unable to attend service at all. Ten children and 19 grandchildren survive: Mrs. Frank Robbins, Plattsmouth; Mrs. Joe Robbins, Lakeman, Kas.; Clarence Johnson, Elk Creek; Mrs. William Lyell, Tecumseh; Mrs. Walter Seigal, Elvin, Ralph, Emmett, Russell and Keith, all of Pawnee City; also three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Johnson, Syracuse, Nebr., Mrs. Josephine Muldowney of Omaha and Mrs. Ethel Barns of Seattle, Wash., three brothers, Harry Hixon, Claude Hixon and Will Hixon, all of Omaha. A loving, kind and indulgent mother has gone to her eternal home where there is no pain and sickness, neither sorrow nor suffering, but where she will know only joy and happiness, awaiting her loved ones. Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist church at 2:30 Sunday afternoon by Rev. I. D. Alvord. Music was furnished by a ladies' quartet of the church. Interment was in the Pawnee City cemetery. *Thank you to Luella for the obituary!
