Funeral service were held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, Elgin with burial to follow in Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Miles and the Rev. Steve McCoy officiated. The family received friends on Friday, March 30, 2015, 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donehoo Street, Statesboro, Ga. 30458. Surviving are his son, Tony Morgan (Beth) of Elgin; brothers, J.C. Morgan of Elgin and Stephen "Rusty" Morgan (Robin) of Meldrim, Ga.; brother-in-law, Frank Wilson of West Columbia; and 2 grandchildren, Brittany Morgan and Katelyn Morgan.
