Cilley died at his home, seven miles north of Emporia, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. He was sick but a short time. He served in the Army of the Potomac, and afterwards moved to this county, where he lived for 29 years. He was well known in Emporia. A number of years ago he was crippled for life by a rock falling on a leg. He was a hale, hearty fellow, who made a good neighbor. He leaves three children. The funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today.
