Rainbolt, Who Died This Morning In Terre Haute BURIAL IN LOUDER CEMETERY Quincy O. Rainbolt passed away this morning at one o'clock in the Terre Haute hospital where he had undergone an operation the first of last week for the relief of Gall trouble . The news of his death came as a distinct shock to the relatives and his host of friends in this city. He was born in the vicinity of Popcorn this county in November 1881, where all of his boyhood was spent. He was a splendid student embracing all of the opportunities possible for a higher education. He spent some time at Purdue University, where he perfected himself in agriculture along scientific lines. He lived for some time on his farm east of this city until several years ago when he became county agricultural agent of Monroe County where he made a splendid record and was deservedly popular in the city as well as in the county districts. A year ago he was employed as county agent of Vigo County and moved his family to Terre Haute where his splendid success in his chosen work met the approbation of the public generally. He was of a genial and happy disposition winning the high regard of all whom he came in contact. His business dealing were of the highest caliber, he not only had the courage of his convictions but the courage to enforce them. He was an honorable, upright Christian gentleman, a friend who could be depended upon in any emergency, a devoted husband and father. He was married to Miss Ruth Armstrong and to them were born two children, Elizabeth and Richard. He is also survived by a brother, Orville Rainbolt, of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Parker of Springville.
