Description	:	In Loving Memory Rachele Jean (Boshart) Mattice was born April 12, 1960 in Seward, Nebraska to Delbert and Ardis (Schweitzer) Boshart, the 7th of 8 children. Surrounded by her loving family, Rachele passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at her home in Omaha at the age of 54 years, 4 months, and 19 days, after a valiant fight against cancer. Rachele entered into... Read More	In Loving Memory Rachele Jean (Boshart) Mattice was born April 12, 1960 in Seward, Nebraska to Delbert and Ardis (Schweitzer) Boshart, the 7th of 8 children. Surrounded by her loving family, Rachele passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at her home in Omaha at the age of 54 years, 4 months, and 19 days, after a valiant fight against cancer. As a young girl she attended Milford Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1978. She was united in marriage to Phil Heckman, and to this union two children, Derek and Danielle, were born. Rachele entered into a second marriage on December 30, 2000 to Steve Mattice. Steve and Rachele started their marriage in Germany, later moving to El Paso, Texas where they lived until her recent illness precipitated a return to Nebraska where she could be closer to her family. Her family was everything to her, especially her children and her precious granddaughter. While in Germany, Rachele served as a Family Readiness Support Assistant for USA MEDDAC. In El Paso, Rachele was employed as a Management Assistant with the Orthopedic Group at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Rachele was a member of the Milford Mennonite Church. She and Steve were baptized together and attended Cielo Vista Church in El Paso. In her spare time, Rachele enjoyed bowling, cooking, and especially traveling with Steve and extended family. While living in Europe they visited 28 different countries. She is survived by her husband, Steve Mattice, Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Kristen Heckman, Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Steve Glissman, Fort Dodge, IA; granddaughter, Addelyne Jo Glissman, Fort Dodge, IA; step-children, Michael Mattice and Kaylee Mattice, both of Clarksville, TN; Kara and her husband, Jason Smith, Fort Knox, KY; step-grandchildren, Gavin and Stella Smith, also of Fort Knox, KY; parents Delbert and Ardis Boshart, Milford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeannette "Jan" Bardell, Beatrice; Connie and Don Hoile, Milford; Lora Roth, Milford; Arlene and Jeff Sieck, Columbus; brother, D. Russell Boshart, Milford; special friends Treva Moss, Freda Fry, and Lisa Bryant; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; Godchildren, Madison Troyer and Haylee Kremer; a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Darlene Boshart, and Wendy Boshart; niece Casey Roth; great nephew, Royce Mach; grandparents, Elmer and Gertrude Schweitzer, Amos and Sarah Boshart.
