Read More	Ralph was the son of Joseph Kelley and Catherine Culligan. He married Elvira B. Gard on Nov. 21, 1928 at the Sacred Heart Church in Early. They were the parents of Don and Elvira. Contributed by #47727279 - Ralph A. Kelly was born on Aug. 11, 1903 to Joseph and Catherine Culligan Kelley in Early. He was raised and educated in Early, where he attended and graduated from the Sacred Heart School in 1921. He then attended and graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, and practiced until 1930. He took the postal exam and became Postmaster and later rural mail carrier in Early. He spent 30 years with the postal department before his retirement. On Nov. 21, 1928 he was married to Elvira B. Gard at the Sacred Heart Church in Early. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, holding many offices including District Deputy, State Deputy of the 3rd Degree and State Master of the 4th Degree. He enjoyed golf, dancing, bridge, and enjoying all kinds of sports. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Carol; granddaughter, Kristen; five brothers, Harold, Cecil, Basis, Walter, infant brother, Ralph and one sister, Celeste. Survivors include his wife, Elvira B. Kelley, Storm Lake; son, Donald W. Kelley, Storm Lake; daughter, Sister Elvira Kelley, Dubuque; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Jacqueline (Mrs. Ray Landgraf), Ames.
