He was born in Hamilton on April 12, 1914 the son of William Henry and Josie (Carper) Greene. Ralph was a 1932 graduate of Hamilton High School. On April 12, 1941 at the Lindenwald Methodist Church he married Kathryn "Kay" Watson. He was a veteran of World War II with the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945, where he was stationed at Ladd Field in Fairbanks, Alaska. Ralph was employed as a traffic manager at Champion International for 31 years, retiring in 1977. He was a lifetime member of the BPOE and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of nearly seventy years, Kay; his son, Stephen Greene and his partner Richard Nelson of Salt Lake City, Utah; his son, Jeffrey Greene and his wife Colleen of Herbster, Wisconsin; his granddaughter, Katie Jo Greene and her husband Lyndon Ramrattan and great grandson, Ravi Ramrattan of Duluth, Minnesota; his grandson, Ryan Greene of Herbster, Wisconsin; his sister-in-law, Barbara (Watson) Field of Marlton, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife's parents, Arthur L. and Nelle (Weaver) Watson; brother-in-law, Dr. William G. Field; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Beatrice (Watson) Zerr. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue.
