She is now reunited with her loving husband of 70 years Herbert A. Koppenhofer. Ramona was born September 21, 1928 in Napoleon to Carl and Alice (Walters) Scheele. She graduated from Napoleon High School in the class of 1946. Ramona married Herbert Koppenhofer on March 28,1948 at St. Paul Methodist Parsonage in Napoleon. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 70 years Herbert A. Koppenhofer. Ramona was born September 21, 1928 in Napoleon to Carl and Alice (Walters) Scheele. She graduated from Napoleon High School in the class of 1946. Ramona married Herbert Koppenhofer on March 28,1948 at St. Paul Methodist Parsonage in Napoleon. She was a faithful member of Emanuel Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School. Ramona was a member of the ELCA- Ruth Circle. She worked as a waitress at the hotel, downtown Napoleon, The Fridge Queen and the Rink restaurant. Ramona then worked at the Chief Supermarket where she retired after 27 years of service. She belonged to two card clubs one beginning in 1957 and lasting until just a few years ago. Ramona enjoyed traveling to Florida and Las Vegas for many years with Herbert. She loved spending time with her family. Ramona was a kind and thoughtful person who loved meeting people. Ramona is survived by children, Michael (Gail) Koppenhofer of Chicago, IL., Beth (Bob) Cottin of Sturgis, MI., Scott (Barbara) Koppenhofer of Malinta, OH., a sister-in-law, Ruth C. Eickhoff of Napoleon, grandchildren, Kelly, Kelly, Nick, Luke, Zach, Sam, Marc, Chris, Sean, Amanda, Hillary, Ryan, and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Koppenhofer, parents, Carl and Alice (Walters) Scheele, siblings; Carolyn Lois, John (Carolyn) Scheele, and Barbara (Joe) Colyer. Funeral service for Ramona will be at 11 AM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Napoleon with Pastor Janine Shearser officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Rodenberger Funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Memorials may be made out to the Emanuel Lutheran Church.
