Description	:	Ramona M. Van Sickle, age 88, of Arlington, SD, formerly from the Watertown-Henry, SD, area, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at a care center in Arlington. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Rev. Elmer Brinkman will officiate. A Eulogy will be read by Alex Lowry. Read More	Ramona M. Van Sickle, age 88, of Arlington, SD, formerly from the Watertown-Henry, SD, area, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at a care center in Arlington. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramona’s granddaughters: Nicole Meyer, Casey Van Sickle, Jamie Giedd and Sarah Martin. Active pallbearers will be Ramona’s grandsons: Chad Van Sickle, Jeremy Glenn, Jesse Giedd, Ben Engelhart and Alex Lowry and Pam Giedd. Visitation will be on Saturday prior to services at the chapel. Ramona was born on May 10, 1925, at Florence, SD, to Harry and Ada (Rukstad) Owen. She lived with her family on farms near Watertown and Henry. Ramona was a graduate of Henry High School. She was employed by the Public Opinion and Montgomery Wards prior to her marriage on December 8, 1948. To this union, six children were born. She raised her family on a farm near Henry and later lived in Watertown and Clark, SD, until moving to DeSmet, SD, where she lived until entering Golden Living Center in Arlington. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church and later attended CMA Church in DeSmet. Ramona was a former member of Women’s Methodist Club and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed attending band concerts and her children’s and grandchildren’s activities, riding her scooter, visiting and spending time outdoors. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Ramona is survived by four children: Gail (Harlan) Glenn of Windom, MN, Pam (Clarence) Giedd of DeSmet, SD, Pat (Jack) Engelhart of Hudson, WI, and Vickie Lowry of Sioux Falls, SD; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Sydney Owen and Gary (Linda) Owen all of Henry, SD; and one sister, Joanne Temple, of Scottsdale, AZ. She was preceded in death by two sons, Rex and Danny; her parents; one brother, Harry Owen, Jr; and one sister, Leota Howell.
