RAY WILLIAM MILNE Ray William Milne, the son of Frank and Dora Milne, was born in Pawnee City, Nebr., on August 23, 1911, and passed away on March 20, 1967 at the V. A. Hospital in Cheyenne, Wyo. at the age of 55 years Ray grew to manhood on farms around Pawnee City with his parents until 1933 when he entered a C. C. Camp In 1940 he enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Burma-China theatre until 1945. He then made his home in Torrington, Wyo., with an uncle, Henry Paulman. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Leslie. He leaves to mourn his passing one brother, Merle Milne of Huntington Beach, Calif., two sister-in-law, two nieces, 3 nephews, aunts and uncles and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss him. The funeral service was held on Friday afternoon at the Wherry Mortuary, Rev. W. N. Wallis officiating. George Fletcher and Clifford Brown accompanied by Mrs. Howard Sautter sang "God Will Take Care of You" and "What a Fried We Have in Jesus." Pallbearers were George Fletcher, Clifford Brown, Lloyd Andrews, Oscar Cordon and Will Geiger. Burial was in the Pawnee City cemetery where the deceased was accorded Military honors.
