Description	:	R. Danburg Rites Held Wednesday Raymond E. Danburg, 64 died Sunday, Dec. 3 at his home. Mr. Danburg was born July 13, 1914 at Miller, the son of Eugene and Norma Danburg. He married Rose Martinmaas June 20, 1944 at Miller. From 1944 until 1960 he owned and operated Danburg Trucking with his father and brother Leroy. From 1960 to 1968 he worked at the Sexauer Elevator for the past ten years he has been the Custodian at the Miller Armory. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Danburg was born July 13, 1914 at Miller, the son of Eugene and Norma Danburg. He married Rose Martinmaas June 20, 1944 at Miller. From 1944 until 1960 he owned and operated Danburg Trucking with his father and brother Leroy. From 1960 to 1968 he worked at the Sexauer Elevator for the past ten years he has been the Custodian at the Miller Armory. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Jerry, Canton City, CO, Larry and Dan, both of Miller; two daughters, Marilyn, Miller and Roxanne, SDSU, Brookings; nine grandchildren; one brother, Leroy, Miller and four sisters, Mrs. George (Lenore) Ufen, Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Friemark, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Losey, all of Miller and Mrs. David (Derla) Simons, St. Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 6 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Marbach officiating. Interment was in St. Ann's Cemetery. Active pallbearers were all nephews, Jack Ufen, Bob Ufen, Steve Danburg, Terry Danburg, Dennis Simons, Mile Losey, Bob Losey and Dale Simons. Honorary pallbearers were Floyd Dalton, Robert Eschenbaum, George Engelmann, Ralph Andrews, Linnell Haigh, Robert Schroeder, Tom Marso, Elmer Dietrich, Ed Mareska, Kenny Locke, Floyd McKinney, Herley McCarl and Newt Voigt.
