Read More	OBITUARY The Greenville News (SC) - Friday, May 5, 2000, Page 4B EASLEY, SC - Mr. R. J. Masters, 90, of 221 Fairview Drive, widower of Leurinee Massingill Masters, died Thursday, May 4, 2000. Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Demus and Eugena Henson Masters. Mr. Masters was a weaver with Alice Manufacturing Company, Arial Plant, for over 50 years. He was a member of Arial Baptist Church and the Men's Sunday School Class. Surviving are a son, Herman Masters of Easley; four sisters, Leotta Smith, Lola Nalley and Pearl Jennings, all of Easley, and Nancy Wade of Greer; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, Sammie Sloan. Mr. Masters was predeceased by a son, Roy Masters; three brothers, Woodrow Masters, Leonard Masters and Clyde Masters; and a granddaughter, Starr Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2000, in the Robinson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael DeCosta and the Rev. Grady Tollison. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Honorary escort will be the Men's Sunday School Class of Arial Baptist Church. The body is at Robinson Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, P. O. Box 1162, Pickens, SC 29671. The family is at the home of the son, Herman Masters, 225 Cross Hill Road, Easley, SC 29640.
