Description	:	RAYMOND L. HOOK, 66, died Monday at home. Born in Allen County, he retired as principal of Hicksville Elementary School in 1988 after 32 years. He was past president of Hicksville Rotary Club and was Hicksville Citizen of the Year in 1981. He was formerly a member of the Hicksville Board of Public Affairs and Board of Education. Surviving are his wife, Alice; his mother, Vera M. Hook of St. Joe, Ind.; a son, Jeff E. of Findlay; a daughter, Beth J. Calling also an hour before services at the church. Burial in Forest Home Cemetery, with graveside military rites by Hicksville VFW and Hicksville American Legion. Memorials to Paulding County Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, to the church or to Johnson Memorial Library. Published in the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, December 30, 1997.
