Description	:	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 6 March 1935 Raymond Ostlie Passes Away Raymond Ostlie, of this city, passed away Friday at 2:30 in the morning, March 1st, at the St. Clare hospital, death being due to peritonitis, following an accidental gunshot wound in the abdomen which happened on February 19th. Ever since the accident Mr. Ostlie has been in serious condition and for several days it was known that he could not survive. He was well known in this city where he had resided with his mother since coming to Montana in 1922. Raymond Marvin Ostlie was born in Northwood, N. D., on Dec. 21, 1911, and spent his early life before coming to Fort Benton in Argile, Minnesota. His father passed away in 1914. Raymond was 23 years, two months and four days old at the time of his passing. His death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his mother, Mrs. Thoreson, of this city; and one sister, Mrs. J. O. Patterson, Jr., of Montague, besides other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held from the Louther chapel on Sunday afternoon and were conducted by the Revs. M. J. Wilcox, pastor of the Methodist church, and Joel R. Benton, pastor of the Christian church. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery. The relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement.
