Description	:	MY DAD Obit: He moved with his family to Anselmo and later to a farm north of Taylor, NE. They homesteaded in Newcastle, WY and later returned to Taylor. After marriage they moved to Gering in 1941 where he worked for Gering Plumbing and Heating and other businesses before becoming a custodian at Gering H.S. on 1952. He retired in 1973 at the age of 65 as a Gering school janitor. Ray was a very hard worker and did many kinds of labor. At harvest time he picked potatoes and over 300 bushel day... In the early 40's he owned a little Model A truck and would load munure at the sale barn with a beet fork and deliver each load to customers for $1.00. He dug sewer ditches for one of the Gering plumbing companies; he demolished old buildings and sold the used material. Children: Raymona Ruth Rittenhouse Williams, Loren Leray "Sonny" Rittenhouse, Sr., Donna Rae Rittenhouse. Stepsons: Jerome "Jerry"Claude Alexander, Forrest "Brick" LaVerne Thompson, Doyle "Dude" DeWayne Thompson.
