Read More	Raymond Wilson Zinck 1999 Halifax Herald Raymond Wilson Zinck, 74, 157 Dufferin Street, Lunenburg, died Friday, July 23, 1999, at home. Born in First South, he was a son of the late Forman and Mabel (Kaulback) Zinck. He was with the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. After the war he took a bookkeeping course in Windsor and worked as an accountant with Harry Zwicker's Men's Wear, Lunenburg. He later went to work as an accountant and office manager with National Sea Products, Lunenburg, retiring in 1988 after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 23, Lunenburg, where he was treasurer for over 40 years. Ray had been active over the years as treasurer of minor hocker and minor baseball. He was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg. He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Stevens; son, Stephen and wife Kay, Halifax; daughter, Susan and husband Terry Sheehy, Shubenacadie; sister, Violet (Mrs. Randolph Wamboldt), Garden Lots; brothers, Marshall, First Peninsula; Dana, Lunenburg; grandchildren, Kristin, Darcy and Alexander Zinck; and Andrew Sheehy. He was predeceased by his sister, Rose; brothers, Leslie and Borden. Memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Central United Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of New Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association, Royal Canadian Legion, or any charity. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
