She was a 1963 grauate of Bath High School Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker. She worked for Kelly Temporary Services. She had been a bus driver for the Perry Local School District. She was a member of Westminster United Methodist Church. Survivors also include a son, Steve Shepherd Thompson of Columbus; a daughter, Brenda Lee (Peter) Brass of Hamburg, N.Y.; two sisters, Barbara ( Howard ) Tackett of North Fort Meyers, Fla., and Norita ( John) Moss of Fort Myers, Fla.; and two granddaughters. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Phillip Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, near Westminster. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Rebecca Thompson 51, 3080 Johnston Road, Harrod died of injuries after she drove her car through a stop sign in to the path of another car at the intersection of Rumbaugh and Reservior Roads, said a spokeswoman for the Lima post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. The driver of the car that hit Thompson, Wong Bowman 53, 333 Peevee Road, is in serious but stable condition at Lima Memorial Hospital. The accident is being investigated and charges are pending.
