Description	:	Rebecka was born in 1750 to Ryer Debow and Abigail Debaun in Hackensack New Jersey. Church records are all located primarily in Bergen County, New Jersey. (There are many records with many spellings for both of her parents and herself: Tebow, Tibow, Tibout, Debouw, Debean, Debaan, to name just a few!) Thought Rebecka was "Done" in my Tree, until DNA research came along. Suddenly, between my siblings and myself there were many half-uncles and descendants! Rebecka married first, Jonathon Yeomans (1738-1785), at about age 16. (Marriage records are very hard to find Pre Rev. War NJ!) They had many children, and many of those took the last name of her second husband, Johannes "John" Van Blarcom. It took DNA science to bring this info out into the open. Rebekah's known children are: Jonathon Yeomans (Abt. 1766 -?) (Mention in Father's will.) Daniel Yeomans (1768–1851) (DNA Match at Half-Uncle) John I Yeomans VanBlarcom (1771–1850) (DNA Match at Half-Uncle) Uryer / Uriah / Ryer Yeomans Van Blarcom (1773–1824) (DNA Match at Half-Uncle) Jeremiah Yeomans (1780–?) Believed to have died young. Albert Van Blarcom (1781-1825) (My family branch has no connections to Albert at all) Maria Ann VanBlarcom (1783-1860) (DNA Match to only John.) Abigail Van Blarcom (Full Match to both Rebekah and John.) Annaatje Van Blarcom (Full Match to both Rebekah and John.) Jonathon Yeomans was ailing and he wrote his will in 1773. It is very clear he adored his wife. She was to be left everything. Upon her death, his estate in Haverstraw NY was to be divided amongst his children, with Jonathon getting 5 pounds more as his birthright. If his wife remarried, she was to receive two milch cows forever, and the estate was to be divided as described above. Jonathon passed away about November 1785, as his will was probated in Albany on Dec. 3, 1785. Rebekah appears to have remarried rather soon (Still looking for this record!) , with her daughter Abigail born in Sep 1786 to John Van Blarcom (1751-1829). Abigail is my direct ancestor, which is why all her half siblings display as they do in my family tree. Her last child, with John, was Annaatje "Ann", who was born in 1789. She married a Terwilleger and they are also buried in the family cemetery. I was not sure what to list here with Albert (1781-1825) and Maria (1783-1860)! Jonathon was still alive, but, there is a Paramus NJ DRC baptismal record with the parents listed as "Hannes and Rebecca" for Albert and there is a Paramus DRC record with only 'Johannis Blercom' for Maria! ... **This is a great relief to know, given her second husband was Daniel Yeomans!
