Description	:	Regis D. Bryer, 70, of Grand Island, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Services were held June 25th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach. Mr. Bryer's cousin, the Rev. Dr. Nicki Jo McIntyre, officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery at Wolbach wih full military honors by the United Veterans Honor Guard and the U. S. Air Force. Read More	Regis D. Bryer, 70, of Grand Island, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Services were held June 25th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach. Mr. Bryer was born December 14, 1941 at Wolbach, the son of Glen and Lola Mae (McIntyre) Bryer. He graduated from Wolbach High School. He entered the United Staes Air Force in January of 1961 and retired from service in June of 1982. On November 11, 1967 he was united in marriage with Patricia Coubrough in London, England. After various military transfers to bases throughout the U. S., the couple made their home in Grand Island in 1982. He and his twin brother started United Systems Carpet Cleaning and he worked there until his retirement in 2004. Mr. Bryer was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and a 30-year member of the Jack Rabbit Municipal Golf Course. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed working on his garden patio. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Pat; a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Rick Landenberger of Omaha; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Derek and Aimee Bryer of Orange County, California, and Brett Bryer of Lincoln; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Sandy Bryer of St. Paul, Daryl and Cherie Bryer of Lincoln, and David and Cheryl Bryer of Lincoln; also four grandchildren.
