Description	:	According to his Washington State death record, Andrew was the son of Wesley Chittenden and Mary Cole. His wife was named Mary J. Chittenden. Dr. Chittenden retired about two years ago, his last post was at Buckley. He had preached for the past 53 years in six different states. He was born in Vevay, Ind., December 26th, 1862, and is survived by his widow, Mary, and one daughter, Mrs. Fern C. Bronson of Renton, one son, C. G. Chittenden of Kent. Funeral services were held from the Chittenden Chapel Tuesday, July 2nd at 10 a.m., Rev. Crawford of the Renton Presbyterian church reading the services. Interment was in the Kent cemetery." Rev. Chittenden earned his PhD degree from Htv. College in Indiana (not sure what that college is). He attended both Union Theological Seminary (in New York City) and Oberlin Theological Seminary, graduating in 1891. He served as pastor of Congregational Churches in Ohio, South Dakota, and Illinois, and then a Presbyterian congregation in Sac City, Iowa (1896-1900). He was in Hawarden, Iowa in 1906.
