He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Issac Martin Sr. and Minnie Howell Martin. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Issac Martin Sr. and Minnie Howell Martin. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Martin was a retired minister of the South Carolina Conference of Pentecostal Holiness Church. He retired from Morris Chapel in Hemingway and Rhems Pentecostal Holiness Church in Georgetown . Survivors include his wife, Viola Martin; a son, Bobby Martin of Conway; three daughters, Linda Parnell and Darnell Jordan, both of Conway, and Miriam Parnell of Kingstree; two brothers, the Rev. Holmes Martin of Florence and the Rev. Olin Martin of Ruby; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in Pawley Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
