Parsons, Feb. 28, 1927, aged seventy-eight years, one month and twenty-two days. She was united in marriage to John Hickman Parsons in 1879. Parsons, Feb. 28, 1927, aged seventy-eight years, one month and twenty-two days. She was united in marriage to John Hickman Parsons in 1879. To this union were born seven children, three of whom died in infancy and childhood. The following children survive their mother: Coleman S., of Ada; Emma C. Patten of Urbana, Ill.; Harry A. of Ulysses, Ks.; Reuben N. of Ft. Collins, Colo. The only other relatives are a twin sister, Mrs. Dianna Botts of Danube, Calif., and twelve grandchildren. With the exception of a few years, she made her home in Illinois. In young womanhood she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, and joined the Baptist church at Tallula, Illinois. Until late years she was a faithful attendant upon the services of her church. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." Funeral services were conducted at the home of Coleman Parsons, Tuesday, March 1, Rev. D.T. Burress preaching the sermon. Her body was laid to rest in the Ada cemetery.
